Geodata International

Geodata International Description

Geodata International – A global database of WGS84 and UTM coordinate and altitude countries with geographic cities, municipalities, postcodes and administrative units for geoquoting, proximity search, navigation, and distance calculation. For the address feature, this is often necessary, e.g.

Place names or postal codes for establishing local relationships. Geographic reference can be used e.g. Showing the nearest chain store to a customer through a close search. Depending on the geographical business zone, statistics or general maps can be created. Cities, municipalities and postal codes can be assigned to superintendent administrative units.

Distances between places or postal areas can be determined by the points in the database tables. For this, georeferences are available in database tables across the country, such as UTM coordinates on natural and uniform meridian strips and geographical points in degrees and degrees / minutes / seconds.

With the elevation data from the digital elevation model, the surface height of each place can be determined. Database tables are available in file format CSV (comma separated values). The character set used is UTF8.

This format is often used and in most cases you can import data directly into your own data system. The freeware program Convert, downloaded from the CleatSoft site, converts available database tables into other data formats and character sets with the necessary configuration and selection.

With the program, for example, CSV data can be converted to SDF format (plain document format) or disease format. It is possible to choose between the roles ASCII, ANSI, UTF8 and UniCode for data usage on different platforms. This will make it possible to import data into any database management system or file system.
